“The end result was print your eyes could sink into, signage which looped and nipped like orbital trajectories, and an exciting aesthetic which accommodated a great party atmosphere.”
One thing I have always loved about weddings it seeing the couple in the styles they choose. Some weddings are reserved and traditional, others are extravagant, but each one displays something wonderful about the two being wed. For my wife and I, we wanted all of the monumental class of a traditional wedding, but it was important for us to put a tasteful twist on that tradition as well. We hunted around for a style and settled on a type-forward mien with accommodations for a robust color scheme of verdant deep green, warm cinnamon orange, and auxiliary colors like champagne and sage for accent. For imagery, the celestial vault had us hooked: we centered around light illustrations of moons and stars, and the decor held a solar system of its own. The end result was print your eyes could sink into, signage which looped and nipped like orbital trajectories, and an exciting aesthetic which accommodated a great party atmosphere. Most important to me was the cake topper, which I modeled from scratch as a gift to my wife.
